Annual Show 2025 Review

What a fabulous show; the sun shone on the show field all day, the Marquee benches were filled with flowers, fruit and vegetables and wine and the Badminton Hall was overflowing with baked goods, jams & preserves, a wall posted with photographs and Arts & Crafts.

We had over 1100 visitors to the Show, from the very young first timers to those who have been visiting the show for many years. It is always great to see our regular exhibitors, who all look forward to meeting up with old friends at the Show as well as competing with each other for the Trophies. It was good this year to see a few new faces winning trophies this year. Why not enter next year?

This year, we were able to extend the show further into the field at the Amalgamated, making space for more craft stalls as well as an extended Pet Show Arena. With 41 stalls and exhibitors on the field it made for a busy day, the children were kept entertained at the Sunlight Workshop and the bouncy castle with free milkshakes on hand from Jackson's Dairy, the police car was a major attraction with helmets and buttons to press, and the food stalls kept everyone fed and watered, even offering a glass of prosecco and beer.

Something for everyone!

The exhibitor benches were, once again, overflowing with flowers and produce, baking and handmade crafts. With over 600 entries our exhibitors never let us down, putting on a fabulous show despite the hot and dry weather throughout the summer. The complete list of class and trophy winners can be found on the 2025 Annual Show page.

It was was a very successful day and we're already planning for next year!

If you enjoyed this years show, have you thought about volunteering next year? The show is run entirely by volunteers, and demands a massive amount of work through all months of the year, not just summer. We need more volunteers to make the show run as smooth and successfully as follows. Express your interest for next year by filling in the form on the Annual Show page.
