Wow what a day we had on Saturday!

The sun was shining and you all came out in force.

This was our biggest show yet with well over 1200 people passing through the gates. We hope you all had a great time and were well entertained through the afternoon. Best in Show, Roddy, looks like he had a good time too!

A massive thank you to everyone involved in the show, and the band of volunteers who helped set up, run, and take down the whole set up. A lot of people dedicated a lot of hours to the show, and your hard work is so appreciated!

A review of the show is available on our blog.

Volunteer form

Did you enjoy the show? Do you want to help make the show even better?

We’re looking for a new generation of volunteers to invest in future-proofing an established 118 year old Summer Show to continue serving its community. Rewards are the satisfaction of seeing families and children enjoying themselves on the day, helping to encourage a new generation of gardeners and as importantly, a well-earned pint (other drinks are available) on completion!

With over 1200 people attending the show in 2025, we need help with setting up and taking down the marquee exhibition space (marquee is erected by others), badminton hall exhibition space, show field (including setting out, security fencing and erecting and taking down society gazebos, entrance gate, signage etc) and managing the show on the day.

Fill in the form below to express your interest:

We need you!
